Turn into the drive of Kingsley Mill, off the main Northwich - Frodsham road, midway between Crowton and Kingsley, and it soon becomes obvious that there is more to Kingsley Mill than meets the eye.

W & T Gibson Ltd is a family business which is over 150 years old. There has been a mill on this site since Saxon times and in the early 19th century, long before modern modes of power, Kingsley Mill relied on the mill pool to turn the giant wheel which rotated the milling stones. Farmers brought their corn in horse drawn carts, and other foodstuffs such as maize came in barges up the River Weaver to nearby Pickering's Lock at Crowton. Links to days gone by still remain.

The mill pool, although no longer used to drive the milling stones, still plays an important part at Kingsley Mill, being home to many ducks, geese and other wildlife. The Mill is still today a working mill and produces a range of animal feeds both for leisure use and the agricultural industry.

On site there is a saddlery, selling everything for the horse and rider and a new animal and pet food store again selling all major brands of animal & pet foods all at a very reasonable prices, where you find everything you need for your pets from hamsters to wild birds to pigeons to pot bellied pigs!!. You name it, and we have probably got it.

We are well worth a visit soon, as well as plenty of free and easy parking, beautiful scenery and great value for money, you will be assured of a warm welcome and given all the possible help or advice you may need. We look forward to seeing you soon!!
